Port Blair, July 13: The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) organized 1 Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) for Women at Directorate of Industries Conference Hall, Port Blair, South Andaman, Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 11th of July 2023. The programme was supported by The National Commission for Women (NCW).
Shri Abhishek Bhukal, Director (industries) was the chief guest of programme, he addresses the gathering and expressively pointed the role of women in sustainable growth of region, and further he expresses his greetings for successful completion of programme.
In the programme Shri. Ajit Anand, Deputy Director, industries, Shri. Yogesh Kumar, Assistant Director MSME, Shri. K. Kumaravel, Shri. T. AlviKutty, Assistant Director, representative of various departments and subject matter specialist were present.
The Programme was day long, total 110 participants were participated and they got benefited by the programme. And It was successful to motivate women for adopting entrepreneurship as a career and overcome social, economic and familial barriers in becoming entrepreneurs.
