Port Blair, July 13: In continuation of Road Safety campaign, on 11.07.2023 a FreeEye test camp was organised for the commercial drivers of AutoRickshaw, Public service Bus and Trucks and their family members atPS Aberdeen Conference Hall in collaboration with GB Pant Hospital.More than 70 drivers availed the benefit of this Eye testing camp.
While addressing the participants, Shri Kalaivanan R, IPS(Superintendent of Police, Traffic) emphasized the importance ofphysical fitness of drivers including their eye sight in order to make theroads more safer. He encouraged the drivers and their family membersto avail this facility. The participants were also provided with Eyeglassprescription and Eye drops.
