Port Blair, June 15: It is brought to the notice of the electricity consumers and government departments that power supply will remain suspended at Shadipur, South Point, Mazaar Pahad, Machi Line, RGT Road, Govt. Press, JNRM College, Buniyadabad, AIR, DDK Colony, part of Delanipur, part of Prem Nagar, Coast Guard Enclave, Coast Guard HQ, Coast Guard Jetty, Panipath Road & Fortress HeadQuarter, Haddo, Haddo Wharf, Foreshore Road and upto Civil Aviation Delanipur areas on 17.06.2023 (Saturday) from 0730 Hrs. to 1500 Hrs. in connection with rectification of cable fault of Zebra-I Tie line near Chatham Saw Mill and shifting of electric pole of VOR Tie Line at Shadipur. During the above mentioned work all the feeders emanating from Chatham Power House viz. Radial-2, VOR, Coast Guard and Haddo feeders passing through the same trench will be kept under shutdown for safety measures.
It is further to inform that the above mentioned work will be carried out subject to weather conditions. If works do not take place on 17.06.2023, due to heavy rainfall, the same will be carried out on next Saturday i.e. 24.05.2023 in the same time schedule.
The above mentioned schedule is tentative; if the work is completed earlier the line will be charged accordingly. The inconvenience caused is regretted.
