Port Blair, Jan 04: The Island Tourism Festival’s Inaugural Ceremony has become an integral part of the National Cultural Scenario with the Doordarshan (Bharati) National Channel deciding to telecast the inaugural function of ITF LIVE on Jan-5, 2013 at 6.00 pm.
DD Bharati which reaches all over India is also an international channel, which cover more than 36 countries. This channel showcases the cultural diversity and heritage of India from 2011, ITF has become part of the DD Bharati Annual Cultural Calendar.
DD Bharati is a must carry channel for cable operators.
Apart from the inaugural ceremony ITF will be telecast LIVE by Doordarshan Kendra, Port Blair on Jan-7, 8,9,10 & 14 from 6.00pm to 7.30 pm on all other days the cultural evenings will be recorded and telecast (deferred) later.
