Port Blair, Feb 26: A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. Prashant Kumar, Chief Administrator, Port Management Board and Mr. Piyush Vijaykaran Singh, Controller, Andaman Labour Force (ALF) today. During the meeting, they heard the grievances and issues raised by staff and workers of ALF. The Chief Port Administrator directed the officials for the early disposal of all the dues of the personnel of ALF such as settlement of pensions, medical claims and MACP etc., within the next 15 days.
A similar meeting was earlier held during the second week of January 2023 during which the CPA expressed his satisfaction on the action taken by the staff of ALF to resolve some of the issues of the personnel of ALF.
