Port Blair, Dec 18: Andaman & Nicobar Command Cross Country Championship 2012-13 was conducted on 12 Dec 2012 under the aegis of Headquaters Andaman & Nicobar Command. The Cross Country run commenced from Majar Pahar Road (Beyond Science Centre) and finished at Dollygunj. A total of six teams comprising of the Air Force, Naval, Coast Guard, Army Components {22 PUNJAB, 18 KUMAON & 154 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) participated, wherein 18 KUMAON achieved success by conquering the Andaman & Nicobar Command Cross Country Championship for the year 2012-13. The team apart from securing the first position also clinched the first six individual positions. Air Cmde BV Upadhayay, Air Force Component Commander (AFCC) gave away the prizes to participants & the Cross Country Championship Trophy to 18 KUMAON.
