Port Blair, Oct 13: With great pleasure, on behalf of the entire tourism industry of Andamanand Nicobar Islands, Mr. M Vinod, the president of Andaman Association of Tour Operator (AATO) has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Government ofIndia for extending the LTC for Andaman till 25th September 2024.
Mr. M.Vinod , President Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) had earlier requested Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Personal Affairs for extensionof LTC facility for A&N Islands through personal meetings and letters.
Mr. Vinod said this move has come at a time when the tourism Industry is facing itsbiggest challenge and this order shall help in resuscitating our industryback to life and multiply footfalls in the days to come.
Mr. Vinod also expressed his gratitude towardsthe Andaman and Nicobar Administration for proposing, pursuing andprioritizing the extension of LTC being mindful of the thousands oflivelihoods that depend on it.
Mr. Vinod added that the Andaman tourism industry looks forward to several more suchtourism encouraging moves from the Government of India and the Andaman andNicobar Administration.
