Port Blair, Feb 01: A dead body was found floating in the Creek area of Joda Kilan, Sippighat on Monday morning.
As per reports the deceased has been identified as Mr. Anil, 35 years, a resident of Garacharma, Port Blair who went for fishing on (30 January 2022) Sunday evening. It is believed that he accidentally fell into the creek water and drowned.
It is learnt that on the next day, the floating body was sighted by the local people of the area after which Police Station Pahargaon was informed about the body. Later the body was shifted to GB Pant Hospital, it is learnt.
