Port Blair, Nov19: National Integration Day was observed at Gandhi Bhavan today. Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma President, PCC, senior leaders, supporters and staff paid floral tribute to the Portrait of Smti Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India on her birthday today at Gandhi Bhavan. The President also administered pledge for National Integration to the gatherings.
Later, Mr. Sharma, along with Smti Manimala Halder of Rabindra Bangla Vidyalaya, Dr Abhijit Roy, Professors Dr Swapan Biswas, Dr Ratan Mazumder, Dr Jyotirmoy and other dignitaries received Swamy Modhu Moharaj, a senior monk of Alam Bazar Moth, Kolkata who arrived here for 6 days tour.
Alam Bazar Moth is the place where Swami Vivekananda had stayed after his historical tour to Chicago. Swami Modhu Moharaj will stay at Ram Krishna Mission, Port Blair during his stay at Port Blair.
