Port Blair, Jan 09: Today a Maha Mritunjay Yajna was performed at Maha Kali Mandir Billiground by Bharatiya Janta Party Kisan Morcha and Hindu Rastra Shakti, North & Middle Andaman, praying for long-life of Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi.
As per information received this Yajna was performed in response to the PM’s road blockade in Punjab.
It is learnt that the Maha Mritunjay Maha Yajna was organized under the close supervision of Dr. P. K. Mandal, State General Secretary of BJPKM and HRS, A &N Islands.
The Yajna was performed in the presence of Mr. Sankar Mondal – BJP district Vice-President, Mr. Niranjan Ch. Mazumder- Mondal President HRS, Mr. Devavrat Das, BJPKM District Secretary, Mr. Mangal Roy, Executive Member HRS, Mr. Samir Dewari- HRS and villagers. The Yajna was conducted by Pandit Nikhil Chattopadhyay.
