Port Blair, Dec 07: A two-day District level Football Knockout match was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Port Blair in association with Garacharma Youth Club and CSC Academy under District Level Sport Meet. Altogether, 10 teams participated namely Gurama Club, 13 Shikhs, JSC, Bimblitan Club, Dollygunj Club, Garacharma Youth Club, MSC, Galaxy XI , FIFA Sporting Club and Spark Boys. In which Semifinal was played between Dollygunj and JSC Dollygung Loss the match by 00/01 goal JSC won the match enter the finals. The final match was played between FIFA Sporting Club and JSC in which FIFA Sporting Club won the match by 00/03 goal against JSC.
The chief guest of the event, Mr Binit Jaiswal, Proprietor of Shree Radhey Traders, facilitated the winning team by Medal, Trophy and certificate. Mr Dheerak Kumar Sharma of CSC academy distributed medals, trophy and certificates to the runner-up team member.
Mr Gopal Ch Biswas of Nehru Yuva Kendra highlighted the aims and objectives of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan towards organizing sports events for the benefit of youth. Wasim of Garacharma Youth Club proposed the vote of thanks.
