Port Blair, Nov 05: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Island, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today demanded to schedule a ship from Little Andaman to Port Blair tomorrow early (06.11.2021) morning so that candidate appearing for Panchayat Secretary exam on 07.11.2021 can reach Port Blair by evening and appear in the examination for the post of Panchayat Secretary on Sunday (07.11.201) morning.
In a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, A & N Administration the Member of Parliament today mentioned that the examination for the post of Panchayat Secretary is scheduled on 07 November 2021 (Sunday) and for this reason, the candidates from different parts of Andaman and Nicobar islands are reaching Port Blair.
He mentioned that many candidates from Little Andaman Island are unable to reach Port Blair because there is no ship from Hut Bay to Port Blair before 7th November 2021 and the last ship from Hut Bay to Port Blair was scheduled on 2nd November 2021.
The Member of Parliament pointed out that many candidates, under tremendous mental pressure are now fearing that they will not be able to appear in the examination for the post of Panchayat Secretary to be conducted at Port Blair, which will be a great loss for their future.
Considering the problems being faced by the candidates of Little Andaman, the Member of Parliament has demanded to schedule a ship from Little Andaman to Port Blair tomorrow early (06.11.2021) morning.
