Port Blair, Oct 18: A delegation of Andaman Association of Tour Operators comprising its President Mr. M.Vinod, General Secretary Mr. K.Hamza and Organising Secretary Mr. P.S.Vijayan met the Home Minster Mr. Amit Shah at Raj Niwas on 17 October 21 during the minister’s 3 day visit to the islands.
AATO delegation appraised the minister about the developments in the tourism industry and the challenges being faced by the tourism operators in these islands.
The delegation submitted a representation to the minister with a request to consider the issues pertaining to the tourism sector of A&N Islands.
The Home Minister reportedly assured the delegation to consider the requests projected before him and briefed the delegation about the upcoming tourism projects planned for A&N Islands.
