Port Blair, Sep 12: Residents of Ward no.7 Prem Nagar, Port Blair are suffering a lot due to an increase in the number of pigs in the area.
Although the Port Blair Municipal Council is dreaming about making Port Blair a smart city but since last several years the PBMC has failed to free Prem Nagar area from pig menace.
As per information received the movement of pigs at ward no 7 in Prem Nagar area has increased and the nearby people are finding it difficult to live.
Pigs can be seen moving freely everywhere in Prem Nagar area, inside parks, near houses, on roads etc.
Public of the region complain that after making several complaints no favorable action has been taken yet by the PBMC.
