Port Blair, Aug 16: On the Auspicious Occasion of 75th Independence Day which is also touted as “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman & Nicobar Islands led by Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, BJP-ANI hosted National Flag in front of State BJP Office, Middle Point in presence of Mr. Bishnu Paday Ray, Ex-MP, BJP, ANI, Core Committee Members, Office Bearers, Senior Leaders and other Karyakatas.
The Programme included felicitation of Corona warriors. The Event was followed by visiting Cellular Jail, where a brief programme was organized by Smti Sampa Banerjee, State President, BJ Mahila Morcha and Team. The visiting team marking the importance of contribution of freedom fighters paid tribute whereas an exemplary speech was given by senior leaders at the venue.
