Port Blair, May 02: On credible information, a raiding team constituted by SHO PS Humfrygunj SI Anik Das along with SI Abdul Azad, HC/762 Abdul Bashir, HC/2336 Bijoy, HC/1892 Kamraj, PC/2647 Aurangzeb, PC/2915 Sabraj, PC/2736 Nisha Kujur and PC/2498 Leela Das conducted raid at the house and premises of Mr. Janardhan Singh s/o- Late Dhabraj (40) yrs private worker R/o- Memyo, Ranchi basti and recovered 17 pieces hardwood hand blaze button all measuring length-2.60 mtrs and width- 3×2 inches each. After sometime, in an another raid conducted at the house and premises of Mr. V Karuppu S/o- Late R Velu (42) yrs, fisherman R/o- Line Dera, Manjery recovered 06 Nos. Wooden post measuring as follows:-
1) L- 2.65 mtrs W- 0.35 mtrs
2) L- 2.90 mtrs W- 0.30 mtrs
3) L- 3.30 mtrs W- 0.35 mtrs
4) L- 2.90 mtrs W- 0.30 mtrs
5) L- 2.85 mtrs W- 0.30 mtrs
6) L- 3.40 mtrs W- 0.35 mtrs
All the seized property were handed to forest officials of Range office Garacharma and Manglutan for further necessary action.
The entire raid was conducted under the direction of SDPO Bambooflat Shri Saurabh chandra and overall supervision of SP District South Andaman Shri Ravi Kumar Singh.
