Port Blair, May 02: On 30th April 2021 an electrocution case was reported in PHC Tushnabad, where a man got electrocuted while carrying out welding work at the roof of a shed.
It was learnt that a man namely Mr. Tripathi, 36 years, a resident of Bambooflat was working under a private contractor as a welder. On 30 April 2021 he went to work in Tushnabad Christian Graveyard for wielding work on a shed and while working on the roof of a shed he got electric shock and he fell on the ground.
He suffered burn injuries on his hand and legs. He was immediately rushed by the nearby people to PHC Tushnabad where he got admitted.
A case has been registered against the contractor for negligence in Police Station Ograbraj, further details are awaited.
