Port Blair, May 02: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands in a letter addressed to Chief Secretary appreciated the Andaman and Nicobar Administration for taking lots of precautionary measures in the form of restrictions and partial lockdown to protect the general public from Coronavirus.
He pointed out that due to these restrictions the general public will face many problems related to corona testing and check-ups.
As a result, I would suggest that the Administration to set up a few Ambulances as Mobile Corona Testing Laboratory with Doctor, Nurses and Lab Technicians which can reach the patients at their homes and provide them with corona testing and patient found positive may be shifted to the hospital. This will surely help the patients as due to the partial lock-down, transportation will be reduced.
