Port Blair, Jan 10: All Seven COVID-19 patients, who were detected COVID-19 positive in Rapid Antigen Test on 7th January 2021 form Little Andaman Island, have now been tested COVID-19 negative in RTPCR test, bringing huge relief for entire Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Detection of these seven COVID-19 cases from Little Andaman Island of South Andaman District had created a ripple in entire Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as since last couple of weeks there were hardly any new case of COVID-19 in Andaman, and the UT was already hoping to become COVID-19 free very soon.
It is learnt that detection of seven cases from a remote Islands triggered suspicion, about some mistake in Rapid Antigen Test, following which RT PCR tests were conducted on all seven patients twice, and in both the cases they were tested negative.
According sources due to inconclusive results because of technical error, earlier these seven people were tested positive.
