Port Blair, Dec 28: Despite best attempt made by police team posted at Jirkatang JPP, an ATR passenger today died at PHC Ferrargunj after suffering massive heart attack at Jirkatang.
According to reports, the deceased Mr. Parimal Mistry, was coming towards Port Blair from Middle Andaman by 9.30 AM convoy of ATR.
On the way his car suffered major breakdown after reaching nearly 10 KM from Middle Strait JPP.
Following this Mr Parimal Mistry and his son were brought to Jirkatang by police patrol vehicle.
After reaching Jirkatang, Mr. Parimal Mistry reportedly collapsed due to heart attack. Soon the Police Team of Jirkatang Jarawa Protection Post, under the direction of JPP incharge Sub Inspector, Mr. P.K.Jabbar shifted Mr. Parimal Mistry to PHC Ferrargunj where he later breathed his last.
