Port Blair, Oct 21: A foreign Yacht, Cauella, with only one person onboard, today reached Kamota Island for some repair works as the Yacht reportedly developed form problems in the engine while on its way to Maldives.
According to details, 20 year old British National, Mr. Oliver Ovine is the only person onboard the Yacht and it sailed from Phuket for Maldives on 16 October 2020.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that a Joint Investigation Team will inspect the yacht and interrogate the British National before providing any kind of help. Further details are awaited. Sources said that before reaching Kamorta port the Yacht reportedly strayed toward Campion Island but later anyhow managed to reach near Kamorta Port.
