Port Blair, Nov 26: Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoH & FW), in association with TATA Trust and Dell has developed an NCD Application to capture the upstream, midstream and downstream screening data of Hypertension, Diabetes and three common cancers (Cervical, Breast and Oral cancer). The training was provided to create a field support unit and pool of trainers to roll out the implementation of NCD software’s in A & N Islands covering screening of 30 yrs and above Hypertension, Diabetes and three common cancers (Cervical, Breast and Oral cancer) among the population.
Experts from TATA Trust imparted TABLET and WEB PORTAL based hands on training to around 100 participants in 04 batches and 08 working days including Programme Managers, Community Health Officers (CHO), Health workers and Medical Officers at DBRAIT, Port Blair, which concluded today.
