Port Blair, Nov.26: The Indira Gandhi National Open University Regional Centre Port Blair has conducted a Video Seminar on Higher Education (Faculty Enrichment Programme) for the benefit of faculties of Higher Education Institutes on 24th November 2019 at IGNOU Regional Centre premises. The Guest faculties/lecturers/College Resource persons from JNRM/ANCOL have attended the said Video Seminar. During the seminar, Dr. Soundara Pandian, Principal Andaman Law College, Port Blair interacted with the participants and shared his experiences about Higher Education. Three activities have been carried out in between Video CDs. The VCDs on: Conducting interacting sessions, Skills associated with a lecture, students problems and counseling and Meet the Indian college student have been shown to the participants. Interaction session was conducted during beginning and end of each VCD session. An exclusive Video Seminar will be conducted at IGNOU, Study Centre0208, M.G. Govt. College, Mayabunder for college teachers. The next Video Seminar will be held shortly for another set of college teachers. The registration is open now for the same.
