Port Blair, Nov 03: Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over north Andaman Sea and adjoining Myanmar coast, a low pressure area is likely to develop over North Andaman Sea during next 24 hours. It will move in west-north-west direction and concentrate into a depression over Bay of Bengal. Under its influence, squally weather and rough sea conditions likely to remain over Andaman Sea from 04 to 08 November 2019.
The fishermen have been advised not to venture into sea from 04 to 08 November 2019. Further, all boat owners, relatives and friends of fishermen are advised to apprise them for returning to harbour during cyclonic weather. In case of any distress alert, Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre, Port Blair may be informed over toll free no. 1554 and telephone numbers 245530 and 246081.
