Diglipur, Sept 22: Awareness programme on Plastic Waste Management was observed on 20th Sept, 2019 at the conference hall of Directorate of Industries Extension Centre, Diglipur. The programme was attended by all the trainees and staff of Extension Centre, Diglipur. Shri Swapan Kr. Mallick, Pilot Plant In-Charge in his address said that it is very easy to make these Islands plastic free and for this, each individual has to change their attitude towards cleanliness. Meanwhile, a cleanliness drive ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’ was observed by staff and trainees of Directorate of Industries Extension Centre, Diglipur on 21st Sept. 2019 to make the Extension Centre compound plastic free. Both the events were observed as ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’.
