
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 23: Hindu Rashtra Shakti (HRS), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, has appreciated the immediate intervention of Member of Parliament Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray in addressing the shortage of beds in Female Surgical Ward-I of G. B. Pant Hospital, Sri Vijaya Puram.
In a statement, Angshuman Roy, State Youth President, Hindu Rashtra Shakti, expressed sincere appreciation to the MP for taking immediate note of the shortage of beds, visiting the hospital and assessing the difficulties being faced by patients and their families.
Following the intervention and directions of the Hon’ble MP, additional beds have been arranged in Female Surgical Ward-I to accommodate new admissions. HRS stated that since genuine patients cannot be denied admission, the timely arrangement will provide much-needed relief to patients and help ensure continuity of treatment.
HRS also placed on record its special appreciation for Sister Jessy, Ward In-charge, and her entire team for making additional efforts to arrange the beds and coordinate with the hospital management. The organisation said that their dedication and patient-oriented approach deserve recognition.
Hindu Rashtra Shakti thanked Hon’ble MP Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Sister Jessy and her team, along with the hospital management and staff, for working together to resolve the immediate issue promptly.
The organisation described the development as a positive example of how timely intervention, responsible leadership and dedicated healthcare staff can work together in the interest of patients.
HRS expressed hope that similar prompt action will continue to be taken whenever patients and their families face difficulties in accessing essential healthcare facilities.
