Port Blair, Aug 30: BSNL A & N has installed and commissioned new VSATS, thereby doubling the total backhaul bandwidth for 3G & 2G mobile data services. This augmentation of bandwidth will enable BSNL customers to enjoy faster data speeds on 2G & 3G mobile services and improve user experience. As a goodwill gesture to the customers of A & N Islands, the mobile data rates have been slashed upto 50% by introducing four new prepaid data recharges as promotional offers. Customers can now avail 400 MB data with validity of 1 day / 5 days on recharging Rs 19 / Rs 49 respectively. Similarly for 3GB / 4GB data, with recharge validity of 3 days / 25 days is priced at Rs 85 / Rs 139 respectively, a release issued by AGM (S&M), BSNL, A & N Circle said here today.
