Port Blair, August 4: The School of Tourism and Hospitality Service Management of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a new programme – Bachelors of Arts in Tourism Studies. The objective of this programme is to provide knowledge, competence, and skills in the professional area of tourism at the Bachelor’s Degree level. This programme, like other Bachelor’s Degree Programmes, can be completed in three years. The three years programme is available both in English and Hindi Medium, consists of 96 credits with twelve theory courses and three projects; (Fee: Rs. 3200/-). All 10 + 2 pass students from any recognized board (any stream) are eligible for Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies.
Now the admission for July 2019 Academic session is open.
