Billyground, July 31: On 30/7/2019 at 2PM a complaint from the Principal of JNV, Panchawati was receipt by police that a boy of the school is missing from the school campus since a long time.
After receiving the information the police team of PS Billyground headed by SHO, D.K.Roy along with forest department and JNV staffs conducted an intensive search operation inside the deep forest close to the JNV School at Panchwati.
After a prolonged search operation, the minor child was traced out at 5.30 PM and handed over the principal of JNV Panchwati.
It is learnt from the boy’s close friends that he is actually a resident of Jharkhand state and his uncle brought him here for his good education.
The school authorities and villagers of nearby area lauded the efforts of police and forest team in tracing out the student from forest.
Public and school staff expressed gratitude to Mr. D. K. Roy, SHO, PS Billyground and his team members. Some PRI & Public of Sivapuram GP demanded DC’s commendation award for the SHO, PS Billyground on Independence Day.
