Port Blair, Jan 31: A small wooden cargo vessel, Sagarmala Sandesh, carrying nearly 200 tons of Cargo from Port Blair to Hut Bay reportedly sank off North Cinque Island yesterday night.
As per details, at around 7.00 PM crew members of the vessel noticed ingress of sea water inside engine room, following which they abandoned the vessel. Later all six crew members were rescued by local fishermen, it is learnt. Further details are awaited.
