Diglipur, Apr 10: A Workshop on preparation an integrated road map for Sustainable Development Goal in Andaman held today at Conference hall of APWD Guest house.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), growth, Purpose, Target and its 17 Goals were discussed on this occasion. Later interaction session was followed. Niti Ayog, Govt of India has made mandate to implement the SDG in India where as UNDP supports the countries through mainstreaming accelerating support.
Mr. Tapan Mondal, IAS (Retd), Consultant UNDP and Mr. Som Baidu, CEO Zilla Parishad N & M Andaman/ Joint Secretary-cum-Director, RD,A & N Administration attended this programme.
PRIs Local Traders, Contractors, Tour Operators, participated today. Earlier today the Asst Commissioner Diglipur, BDO,DFO,CDPO,Tehsildar and other department HODs attended this programme. Tomorrow Local Fisherman and Farmers of Diglipur area will attend this programme. In Mayabunder this programme will be held on 12th April.
