Billyground, Apr 04: A case under POCSO Act, has been registered at PS Billyground against a 43 years old man of Shantipur Village, under Swadeshnagar Gram Panchayat.
The victim, 15yrs old girl, living nearby, was not feeling well since a few days, according to her parents. When the girl was brought to PHC Billyground for medical checkup, the Doctors found the girl pregnant by three months.
That on the basis of the medical report of the girl, the matter was informed to the PS Billyground and consequently on the basis of the medical report a case under section POCSO 2012 has been registered today against the accused.
During the investigation, the girl claimed that the accused forced-fully raped her months before and thereafter she was raped by him many times and the culprit always used to threaten her not to disclose it.
Sources informed that the accused will be produced before the Court at Port Blair on 5th April, 2018.
