Port Blair, Feb 21: Directorate of Information Publicity & Tourism, A&N Administration, Port Blair in association with Children’s Film Society, India, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt of India is organizing Children Film Festival – 2018 from 22/02/2018 to 24/02/2018. The Children’s Film Festival is aimed to provide the exposure and to screen the award winning films to the children’s / student and general public. The films are to be screened at two venues: Anthropological Survey of India, Port Blair for students and Corbyn’s Cove Beach open for general public from 05:00 pm onwards.
The Secretary (IP&T) will inaugurate the Children’s Film Festival at Anthropological Survey of India on 22/02/2018 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Screening of the movie “Lagi Sharth” directed by Raghuvir. “The Story is based on a student named Bipin Bukalwar a student loves books and is fond of real-life adventures his inseparable companion is little child called Viju. Atul, a cunning fellow with histrionic talent throws a challenge to Bipin and Viju to go around Mumbai in search of 10 volume of the encyclopedia in 12 hours. The starting point of the hunt is the Gateway of India at noon and it will end at the same point at the midnight. It turns out to be more of an obstacle race than a hunt. Atul, who chases them in various disguise, himself, is the root of the trouble. How Bipin and Viju escape from the various time consuming obstacles and win the challenge, is the most amazing part of the film.”
