Port Blair, July 04: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, Pradesh Congress Committee in a letter addressed to Minister of Health, Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad, requested to enhance the existing 18 medical seat meant for the students of these island to 40, Mr. Sharma while appreciating the Govt. of India decision to create 5000 additional medical seats in new medical colleges and existing, Mr. Sharma hope that allotment of additional seats will not be a problem with the increase availability of medical seats. Mr. Sharma further requested to allot the seats in reputed medical colleges from the current academic year.
