Port Blair, Jan 17: The Member of Parliament , A&N Islands Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray on 16th January 2018 handed over a 25 seater Bus under MPLAD scheme to JNRM,Port Blair as “Golden Jubilee gift. At a simple ceremony organized in the college Hon’ble MP handed over the keys to Dr.N.Francis Xavier Principal,JNRM.
Earlier, addressing a gathering of students, faculty members and staff the MP explained the importance various schemes started by the Prime minister and their importance for the common man. He also complemented JNRM on completing 50 years in the service of the islands.
Principal, JNRM Dr.N.Francis Xavier thanked the MP for his generous gestures to JNRM by giving Borewells, RO Plants and Bus to the college. He also presented a Golden Jubilee memento to the MP.
