Mayabunder, Jan 17: Once upon a time India was known for her glorious cultural and ethics but now the youngsters are slowly leaning towards western culture. Youths are gradually ignoring the old and glorious Indian dresses.
Today, all the students of B.A. 1st year Historical studies of MGGC, took an oath that all the Boys will wear Kurta & panjabi and girls will wear Saree on 17th day of every month to show respect for the Indian dresses and culture.
Students said that being themselves students of History, it is their endeavor to make aware all the students of the college, about our glorious past and rich cultural heritage of India. Such step by students of 1st Year have been largely appreciated in the college, it is learnt.
