Port Blair, Oct 10: The Bambooflat Police Unit has succeeded to burst a Gambling Den today by conducting a raid in the prominent Hotel situated at Bambooflat area.
As per reports, board money of around 4.2 Lakhs and a total cash of 5.4 lakhs have been recovered from the den. It is said to be one of the biggest gambling raid in the region.
Andaman Sheekha has learnt that around 6 people has been arrested from the gambling den and all the accused come from a high class background but identity of the accused has not been shared yet by Police. Further details are awaited.
