Port Blair, Sep 25: The National Yuva Cooperative Society Ltd. (NYCS –India) organized a programe at Vivekananda Kendra Port Blair on 24thSetember,2017 at 5. 30 p.m to celebrate the Birth Centenary of Pt.Deendayal Updhyay, profounder of Integral Humanism & Antyodaya Philosophy ,and a great Economic ,Social and Political thinker of India. . Mr. Indra Pal Singh, Chairperson,PBMC was the Chie Guest and Mr. Ramesh Verma,Secretary (Agriculture) A&N Administration was the guest of Honour of this programe. Speaking on the occasion both the guests said that the year 2016-17 was being celebrated as the centenary year to pay tribute to the great contributions of Deendayalji to the nation, this occasion may be an inspiration for all of us. A Lecture on the topic:’’ Pt.Deendayal Upadhyay-Life, Philosophy and Contribution” was delivered by Mr. ASISH KUMAR MONDAL, Vibhag Pracharak Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sanga (RSS).Dr.Kandimuthu the District Representative of NYCS ,Port Blair earlier in his welcome address spoke on the NYCS and its functioning. He said NYCS follow the ideas of Deendayal ji and his Philosophy for youth development and for the planning and implementation of Cooperative Programes and project.
