Diglipur, Aug 21: The PS Diglipur registered a rape case against a 29 years old resident of Diglipur recently.
As per reports available the case was registered against a resident of Kalara junction, Diglipur
As per the girl, the accused was having physical relationship with her since last three years and had promised to marry her.
Last week on the promise of marriage the accused brought her to a temple at Port Blair but later he ran away leaving her at the temple.
Since she was new to Port Blair with the help of the few people she anyhow reached Diglipur and filed case against the accused. The PS Diglipur is investigating the matter.
Meanwhile it is learnt that at the residence of the accused at Diglipur another girl is already living with him since last six months, with whom the accused has also promised to marry.
