Port Blair, Aug 07: On Monday 7/8/2017 evening a team of Shiv Sena Party headed by Mr. Vishnu Gavali, Prabhari, Shiv Sena for Andaman & Nicobar Islands met the Surya Chakra Power House Sramik Karamchari Union on indefinite strike in front of Surya Chakra Power House. During the meet Mr. Rakesh B Chandran, Secretary, Surya Chakra Power House Sramik Karamchari Union explained the genuine demand of the workers and misleading statements of the Surya Chakra Power House managements. He also discussed other various issues related to workers of Surya Chakra Power House. On hearing complete grievances of the workers, Mr. Vishnu Gavali, assured to take up the matter with High Command of the party at Mumbai and also in the Parliament to get the issue resolved at the earliest. During the meet, Mr. BK Chauhan, Mr. Selvam, Mr. Arockia Raj, Mr. Pradeep Malick, Mr. Srinivasan, Mr. Vishal Roy were also present and shared their views in which Island Development Organization also extended its support.
