Port Blair, Jul 04: Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Padmashree awardee Mr. Naresh Chander Lal, the brand ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of A & N Islands visited Govt. Secondary School, Dairyfarm on 04 July and interacted with the Students and Teachers in relation to Swachhta,Tobacco and Alcohol free Islands.
The students are well updated with swachhta abhiyaan. The premises of the School are very much cleaned instead of the back side of the school which needsto be cleaned for which he requested PBMC sanitary inspector incharge for an immediate attention. The roof and un-plastered top, may lead to accident in future.The students and teachers complained about the foul smell from the open dumping area of the ward in which the chicken shop keepers and fish market people throw their wastes.Undoubtedly it is cleaned daily but as a thick populated area it causes daily the same garbage dumped which attracts the cows, crows etc.
