Port Blair, Jun 08: At Andaman High waves in the range of 3.0 – 3.9 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 08-06-2017 to 23:30 hours of 10-06-2017 along the west coast of Andaman Islands between Ten Degree Channel and Coco Channel. Current speeds vary between 125 – 157 cm/sec. Under the influence of moderate to strong Southwest Monsoon current, strong Southwesterly wind speed between 35 and 45 kmph and generally rough seas likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast. Fishermen are advised to be cautious while venturing into the sea. At Nicobar High waves in the range of 3.0 – 3.9 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 08-06-2017 to 23:30 hours of 10-06-2017 along the west coast of Nicobar Islands between Ten Degree Channel and Great Channel.
