Port Blair, Apr 04: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, has recommended for release of MPLAD fund of Rs. 52 Lakhs for construction of 02 nos Sluice Gate one each at the stretch of 21.742 km ie. Tyeralabad (estimated cost of Rs: 25.95) and at the stretch 26.160 km ie. Sippighat (estimated cost of Rs: 26.06) of the National Highway No.-4 through the M/s National Highway & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL).
Consequent upon non receipt of any quotation in the first attempt, the M/s NH & IDC Ltd has invited a fresh quotation for the aforesaid work. As confirmed by M/s NH& IDC Ltd, the Technical bid will be opened on 10.04.2017, whereas the financial bid will be opened within a week for awarding the work.
