Port Blair, Mar 20: A good news for Daily Rated Mazdoors of Port Blair Municipal Council as nearly 300 DRMs of PBMC will be appointed as casual staffs and nearly 200 casual staffs of Port Blair Municipal Council to be regularised very soon.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha today, the Chairperson PBMC, Mr Iswar Rao said that the PBMC has taken a lot of steps to generate revenue through the Paid Parkings, Food Park etc therefore the PBMC is now capable to appoint more casual as well as regular workers.
He said that it is already passed in the committee and thus within a period of one month, 300 staffs will be appointed as Casual Workers and 200 casual staffs will be appointed as regular staffs of the PBMC.
