Port Blair, Feb 26: The Lt. Governor, A & N Islands alongwith the Member of Parliament, A & N Islands and Chief Secretary, A & N Administration visited Wimberlygunj on 22.02.2017 in connection with the inauguration of newly built Multipurpose Indoor Stadium at Kanyapuram.
During the visit the Lt. Governor, A & N Islands has spared his valuable time to visit damaged culvert at Andabeda on the request of the Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman which is causing lot of inconvenience to the general public.
The said work has been undertaken by A.P.W.D to provide permanent bridge as well as to reclaim the submerged land of the farmers.
The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands has directed the authorities of A.P.W.D to expedite and complete the work in a time bound manner.
