Port Blair, Feb 26: South Andaman Police, in its continuous efforts in cracking down on crime, has once again solved a burglary case registered at PS Aberdeen vide FIR No. 83/17 dated 19.02.2017 u/s 457/380/34 IPC on the complaint of a resident of Dollygunj regarding burglary by an unknown person in the intervening night on 18.02.2017 from his garage.
A police team of PS Aberdeen headed by Insp. Arun Kumar Singh arrested two accused persons namely 1) Siva Kumar (31 yrs) R/o Phoenix Bay and 2) Pravin Kumar (33 yrs) R/o Phoenix Bay on the same day within 02 hours after ensuring tireless and sustained investigation.
The special team has worked extremely hard in cracking such blind cases and has time and again shown their resolve in tackling such crimes. The team was headed by SHO PS Aberdeen under the supervision of Shri Nishant Gupta, SDPO (SA).
