Port Blair, Feb 22: As part of the campaign against prevention of Alcoholism and drug abuse, a poster and slogan competition was held on 22nd February 2017 at 10.00 am in JNRM Auditorium. Around 30 students from various departments took part in the competition on the theme “Alcohol and Drug Abuse”.
Smti. Rupa Ray viewed the display and the appreciated the creative talents of all the participants. She lauded the initiative of JNRM in the campaign against alcoholism and drug abuse. The winners are Sudipta Saha, II year, MSc Chemistry – 1st Prize, Anit Mazumdar, I year, BSc Plant Science – 2nd Prize, Joseph Das, I year, MA Hindi – 3rd Prize, Putli Bai, III year BA Economics – Consolation Prize.
