Diglipur, 30Jan : Nehru Yuva Kendra,Diglipur organised a five days residential training on Youth Leadership and Community Development programme at Youth Club building at Kalipur from 26th Jan to 30th Jan. During the programme BetiBachao- BetiPadhao, Self employment& PMEGP, Roll of youth for nation building, cashless transaction, Right to education, HIV AIDS, various schemes of Fisheries Department & Agriculture Department topics were covered by the heads of various
Departments.
Today morning at 7:30 am 18 youths also participated in trekking to Saddle Peak, highest peakof A&N Islands which wasflagged off by the ZillaParishad member Shri Boby. At the endKalipurbeach cleaning programme was also held.Shri Jagjeevan Ram, District Youth Coordinator of Nehru Yuva KendraOrganized Supervised all these programmes.
