Port Blair, Jan 04: In continuation of the process of implementation of cashless transactions, the Ward Mela will be conducted in the Municipal area to bring awareness amongst the general public of the respective wards for adopting cashless transaction for their daily needs with the cooperation of Banks. Besides bringing awareness for cashless transactions, the Banks will setup camp for opening accounts/linking of Aadhaar Cards and encouraging the traders for adopting various modes of digital transactions.
