Port Blair, Nov. 8: An Operation Theatre will become functional at CHC Bambooflat with its inauguration by the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi at 11 am tomorrow.
With the inauguration of this Operation Theatre, all types of general surgeries will be conducted at CHC Bambooflat twice a week by general surgeon.
The opening of the operation theatre will benefit the residents of Bambooflat and its neighbouring areas like Wimberlygunj, Ferrargunj, Tushnabad etc. The needy patients from these areas can avail the opportunity to get treatment/surgery done at CHC Bambooflat, a communication from the Deputy Director (HE & FW), Directorate of Health Services.
